Abdul Subhani is a technology executive, entrepreneur, investor, and advisor whose work spans technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, real estate, finance, and business innovation. Throughout his career, he has built and supported ventures that apply technology and investment to solve complex problems, strengthen organizations, and create new opportunities.
His business and investment portfolio includes Centex Technologies, an IT consulting firm specializing in digital modernization and cybersecurity; Subhani Capital, an investment firm focused on high-growth startups and mid-market companies; and Texian Capital, a private credit and equity firm providing construction financing solutions to small businesses across Central Texas. As Co-Founder of Rehza, Abdul is helping build an AI-powered homeownership platform designed to connect builders and homeowners throughout the life of a home. Across these ventures and projects, his work sits at the intersection of technology, investment, entrepreneurship, and practical problem-solving.
Abdul’s technology expertise has also led to select advisory and leadership roles in national security and defense innovation. Since 2019, he has served as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Texas. He has also served as Distinguished Chair of Innovation and Senior Advisor to the Superintendent of the United States Military Academy at West Point and as a technology advisor supporting international collaboration on emerging technologies. These roles reflect his broader interest in applying technology and innovation to complex organizational and societal challenges.
Community leadership is also an important part of Abdul’s work. He is involved with the Exchange Club, AdventHealth Hospital Community Advisory Board, and the Chancellor’s Council Cabinet of the Texas A&M University System. He previously served as Chairman of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas and continues to support the organization as HR Committee Chair.
His business and community leadership has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels. His honors include the State of Texas Small Business Award, Exchange Club Golden Deeds Award, Fast 50 Asian American Business Award, Texas A&M University–Central Texas Distinguished Legacy Alumni Award, and the 2026 Fort Hood Good Neighbor Award for his sustained support of the military community and regional partnerships. Centex Technologies has also been recognized multiple times on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
Abdul’s commitment to education and community investment has created a lasting impact in Central Texas. In 2023, Texas A&M University–Central Texas named the Subhani Computer Information Systems Department in his honor and established the Ruqayya Zubair Faculty Fellowship in honor of his mother. In 2024, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas opened the Subhani Family Clubhouse in recognition of his family’s contributions to the organization and community.
Abdul is the author of three books on online safety and security and has written and spoken extensively on technology, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership. Whether building companies, advising organizations, investing in new ideas, or serving his community, his work is grounded in a belief that technology and business can be used to solve meaningful problems and create lasting value.
